The museum has been buzzing with excitement!
First we said goodbye to the 'Pioneer Trades' exhibition and said hello to Sam Gately, Conservator of textiles and fabric, Te Papa National Services Te Paerangi. Sam mounted our stunning Shaw gown and taught us a few things about the gown along the way, awesome experience and very interesting!
And now our new exhibition is opening its doors on 1st June 2018. 'Suffrage 125 - Our Women Their Stories' tells us of the women and their struggles to achieve the right to vote.
This exhibition is different from our previous displays. Why not come and see what were doing, sign our petition and give us your views on the museums.
See you soon!
We have some exciting events coming soon! Keep updated via Facebook and come back again for updates :)
